“What's the real story!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

One strange thing I noticed about the place is that vendors outside the temple encourage you to buy flowers etc to offer to Lord Bharhma. On the contrary, one of the priests at the Pushkar Lake suggested that we do not worship Lord Brahma. The story is a bit different on web! Conflicting point of views, maybe to make me spend some money at all the places. Anyway, do not fall for the trap! It will be nice to know the truth and not different versions of this place.

Keep your belief intact. Do not carry anything with you while visiting the temple. No bags/handbags, camera, phones allowed. Being the only one for Lord Brahma, attracts a lot of tourists and devotees.

“only temple of Bramha ji”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

As said the only temple of Bramha , Pujari was asking for money to give away the prasadam packets. But at the time i visited this was quite free . it is closed at 12 or 1pm in the noon so try to visit this place early.

“Oozes with culture & sanctity”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Lovely temple, though not greatly maintained. Quite clean - even the priest do not rush you through or beg for "dakshina" or money. Since there is no offerings - flowers or fluids - the place is dry and clean. The image of Brahma and the colour scheme of the temple mandap will remain in memory.

Dislike - the approach to the temple, with touts and shady characters lurking below the temple steps and general lack of cleanliness outside temple premises
