Ananta Spa & Resorts is a classic example of how poor management can create a horrible experience even at a wonderful property and location. We visited Ananta with family and 2 small children and were utterly disappointed by the attitude and aptitude of the front office staff and the services offered.
The front staff kept telling us that they will give us at least one room by 1pm (the supposed check-in time at their partner website - Groupon), however that never happened despite the fact that we had 2 small children with us. The staff very arrogantly showed us the check-in time to be 2PM - however, they were not able to give us all 3 rooms before 3PM (says a lot about their ethics and service values).
The biggest sham was uncovered when we entered the Classic Rooms - Ananta's website clearly mentioned that the classic rooms have private balconies however there were NO Balconies in Classic Rooms (just imagine, the website of such a prestigious property lies on their website!!!!). One of the room AC was not working and even after they rectified it, it was cooling at half the pace of a normal AC - just not acceptable from a 5-star property!! The mini-bars were not working and they gave us some silly reason for it, rather than trying to makeup for their poor amenities. They even tried to fool us by replacing the mini-bar from one of our rooms to our other room - I am really enraged at the audacity of the staff to repeatedly try and fool customers!!! ): ):
The only good thing was the food and the F&B staff - they were courteous and served excellent meals.
I would not recommend Ananta to anyone as their staff takes customers for granted and if you're lucky you might have a decent stay but the management and staff of Ananta would not have any contribution in that!! An excellent property totally wasted!! I would recommend much smaller properties in Pushkar who know how to take care of guests.

I have gone thru your feedback and spoken to the relevant people in the team to ensure that we are able to bring our service standards to the highest level possible.
Our training session have also widened our scope to ensure the staff remains courteous in all cases and present the known hospitality of Ananta Resorts
