“Peaceful Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

The 300 signs for this hotel promising both wifi and a swimming pool lured us to this place. The manager was really helpful, spoke excellent English and managed to take the pain out of the usual check in process.

The wifi was strong, rooms were very clean and it had a lovely garden with 2 Dalmatians. The swimming pool was a welcome relief though it was 1m deep and a little bit slimy. Ah well!

The only downside I saw was the restaurant was a bit average and the guy running it seemed mildly annoyed we were there. I also bit in to what was maybe glass or plastic in my rice. Hopefully my molar is still intact.

Overall I really like staying here, as I sit in the garden at 10pm writing this.

Probably because of the bad timing due to hot period and therefore non touristic, I had issues with the hotel such the electricity was getting every couple of hours, cut off, the WiFI not working properly but worst was the kitchen and the restaurant, that went there to eat assuming as more safe and eventually I ended up with light gastroenteritis. Still though, annoying if you have to travel the day after. Room was OK but Air Condition unit, extremely noisy. Location was OK since it's at the end of a quiet road and the hills are next to it.

Room Tip: Better not chose rooms on the right hand side towards the entrance side because the electricity gene...

The Pushkar Heritage Hotel was one of the best I have been to. Th elocation is really awesome with hills surrounding the hotel from three sides. The people were very polite and courteous. The hospitality was very good. However room service was not that good. You have to call them really to change anything in the room.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel isn't the most modern and facilities are pretty basic but our room was clean & comfortable, with air conditioning as well as a fan. Bathroom was a large empty room but had good hot water supply. We had a ground floor veranda area over looking the well kept gardens & across to the hills. A lovely place to sit & enjoy the peace after a busy few days visiting Delhi & Jaipur. No breakfast buffet, but a simple menu was available to order in the basic restaurant. Tea & toast suited us and was freshly prepared. The duty manager (Loci?) when we were there was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 24 hours in this colourful hotel, away from the bustle of the main area of Pushkar - but it's just 15 minutes walk away from the lake area so we were able to be independent of taxi or camel transport.

Not the most luxurious of hotels but clean, comfortable and extremely friendly/helpful staff. Also has a great view from the rooftop and is just out of reach of the noise from the town. Would certainly recommend for a night or two. NB Be aware of the priests at lake pushkar who trick/coerce you in to making an oversized 'donation'!

Our daughter was very happy about the pool! The hotel is outside of the city in a large garden. The family room was in a smaller building on the side. It was clean, but you have to recognise that you live in a garden also with many more animals that enjoy the bathroom with you. The cook on the rooftop restaurant cooks delicious - our best food in our hotelstays. We have been probaly the only ones that had dinner on the rooftop. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Very recommendable for families! Breakfast buffet was not so good, but bettet if you can order.
