“Great view over crazy downtown Pushkar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Great view over the lake and downtown bazaar market of Pushkar, with good food (you can even get a beer - something difficult to find in dry Pushkar).

Unfortunately only one poor guy provides service to the whole restaurant - he was run off his feet but was very friendly. Come on Baba restaurant - surely you can provide a couple more people to help out!

Falafel and hummus was tasty, as was the pizza.

“Good place - as long as you aren't in a hurry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

The best bits about this cafe are its view and being able to have a nice cold beverage. The food I had (over a week of staying in the locality) was generally tasty and good value - we often chose to eat here rather than at our beautiful, but more expensive, hotel around the corner. The downside was that there was usually only one harassed person serving and scurrying up and down the multi-storied building to its kitchen. If however you take a wifi device or book, and are able to get a table by the balcony, waiting isn't too much of a challenge. Meantime chat to other travellers, watch the monkeys scurry about on opposite roofs, cows linger by the vege stalls below and youths torment as many as people as possible with their honda heroes. It's a peaceful sanctuary above it all!

“Dissapointed on every level”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012 via mobile

Terrible service, lacks atmosphere and cold food. Enough said.

Apparently not for the Trip Advisors minimum 100 words policy on reviews. The restaurant just failed to impress on all levels. OK one good thing, the view. Plus they serve special tea. I still wouldn't go back as the 50 minute wait for cold food wasn't acceptable when there was only a few other tables being served.
