The Dome is a huge exhibition centre with fantastic facilities for large shows/music concerts/expo's etc. It is well maintained and there is plenty of parking. My one issue with the Dome is this: you never know what's on at the Dome until it's too late. I think they should have huge electronic bill boards on all sides (I can think of 5 strategic places around the Dome) advertising upcoming events in the near future (or at least early enough to get tickets in time). The one electronic 'sign' normally only flashes unrelated ads to what's happening inside). I live close to the Dome and are often affected by traffic congestion, but there is not one sign board telling you what is happening and if you can still get in if it's something of interest. They make use of street pole advertising mainly (or so it seems) but to me that's not effective. I want to drive in the area and be able to know from all sides of the building what's happenning or about to happen that could be fun. I've been to Expo's at the Dome where almost half of the facility is not used, which means that you pay a high price for a half empty expo centre. If more people would come to the Expo's, more Exhibitors will make sure that they are there. Otherwise, the facility itself if great, effective advertising is lacking to bring it to it's full potential.
