The view was breathe taking. The pool was very nice. Myfavorite thing was the bbq grills out by the pool which made a great cook out for my family while we swam and enjoyed the sun

Room Tip: the center rooms have the best veiw of the lake.

We're MC riders, who love to travel. We originally picked the Lodge for the local and accessibility to the NW Arkansas scenic area. Crooked roads, hills, forest and scenery draw us to this area every year! Only a short Ride/drive to the War Eagle Mill, within an hour from Eureka Springs, Fayetteville and the infamous Pig Trail.
The proprietors are slowly improving this facility. Rooms are dated a little, cabinet styles, tub type etc. Microwave and cable TV, bout as good as it gets on luxuries. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. They are very hospitable. Have a BBQ grill for those wanting to hang out and chill.
As their website shows, they offer Fishing, Golfing and Lake adventure packages and are close to the Marina. If your looking for a quiet, semi-secluded place to kick up your feet, try this Lodge. Stroll down to the Cafe at the Marina for a Great meal!

If you are looking for a modern, well-managed hotel room with WIFI, telephones, complimentary coffee, hot breakfast and all the trimmings, go somewhere else, because this is not for you. We stayed three nights at the Beaver Lake Lodge of the Ozarks, formerly known as the Prairie Creek Motel. This establishment is recently under new management, and the previous proprietors had run it for decades without many improvements during that time. It looks like a motel from the 1960s, and that's exactly what it is. The bathrooms have been upgraded at some point, and the kitchenettes have a small fridge, microwave oven and coffee machine, but everything else is rather antiquated. However, it was clean, has heating and air-con, and the king bed was comfortable. It must be remembered that the Lodge is specifically aimed at clients interested in fishing, boating and golfing, and not so much at families or young couples looking for a touch of luxury - though there is an outside pool for the kids. It's very hard to rate this property, because although it lacks some features which are standard in other hotels (such as free WIFI in each room), it also offers hands-on service by the proprietors, who are extremely helpful and obliging, and who responded quickly to any issues or requests. A broken shower head and a request for extra pillows was dealt with swiftly and cheerfully. They even allowed me to use their personal wireless signal in the lobby to check my email and take care of some online business. I suspect many holidaymakers would trash the Lodge in their reviews because of this lack of modern facilities, especially when compared with the price, which although was not overly expensive, was also not overly cheap. We paid approximately $85 per night inc. taxes, which was more than we had been paying for hotel rooms with better facilities. BUT... we thought it was worth it, and here's why: The views! The peace and quiet! The lake! Nowhere else in Benton County can you stay in such a pretty and quiet area at such a relatively low price. The Lodge overlooks Beaver Lake. It is a fair way above the lake, and on a clear day you can see for miles. The new managers were very friendly and willing to hear suggestions for improvement. We have every faith that they will make the sufficient improvements to broaden their client base. I would love to return in a couple of years and see how much has changed. Yes, the Lodge needs a few improvements, but I couldn't think of a better place to stay in terms of location vs price!
