“Watch your credit card”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

I bought a room though Priceline and thus prepaid Priceline for the room for this Hotel. At check in, the desk clerk knew the room was prepaid but asked for a credit card for "incidentals", which is normal. Upon getting my credit card bills (I had used two different credit cards to pay Priceline and Incidentals) I had full room charges on both credit cards for the one night. If you stay here and prepay for the room, make sure you do not get charged twice for the room. It also took two phone calls to get the refund. I was told when I called about the double charge that the desk clerk could not help me but that the Assistant Manager would call me the next morning, I waited until noon and did not receive the promised call so I called back and asked for the Manager. The refund was received. Especially watch this if you think you are prepaying for someone elses room.

Becky, I am very sorry about the issue with the credit card confusion over the Priceline virtual card. We are using this review to share with our staff and eliminate that issue going forward. Thank you for rating our hotel high on sleep quality and location. We hope to see you the next time you are in town.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Stayed here for three nights while on a business trip to Rogers area. Location is excellent, situated just off the interstate with easy access to local dining, and not too far from John Q Hammons conference center or Pinnacle Hills mall.

Room was spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. Also had a "welcome" letter and small goody bag with some snacks and a bottle of water, which was a nice touch. I espeically liked the sashes on the pillows to tell you which was firm and which was soft. I was in room 400, which was at the end of the hall near stairs and was very quiet.

Staff was very friendly. I had flight delays on my way in from Atlanta and called to advise I would be very late getting in and staff greeted me by name when I called. I know they have caller id, but to be greeted by name is a very nice touch I have never experienced anywhere else - it was nice to not just be a room number for once.

Hotel restaurant isn't the greatest. Breakfast was a little pricey and food is just average, but there are many local dining options available. After breakfast first day, I did not visit again due to price and average quality, so cannot comment regarding lunch or dinner options.

Would be happy to stay here again!

Had a very friendly reception when checking in. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Close to interstate, some highway noise in room. Wifi was good. A/C is positioned by the desk which resulted in a cold breeze when A/C was operating. I had to take my laptop to the sofa. Desk should be relocated.

This is our favorite consistent hotel to stay at in this area. We have never had an unpleasant stay here while traveling to Razorback games or to come see friends. We have always had clean rooms and the standard breakfast.

I travel to the NW Arkansas area often. This hotel is one of my 2 favorite to stay at when I am there. The rooms are nice, AC controls work great, rooms are very clean. There are flat screen tv's and the beds are comfy. Check in was easy and check out was easier. The hotel has a restaurant/bar that leaves a lot to be desired. If it weren't for this the hotel would be an absolute 5 star. The restaurant is pricey with sub par food and service. The "free" breakfast is a bit of a gimmick because there is rarely any food in the restaurant in food containers to actually eat. The servers are more worried about if they get a tip and not service. Two consecutive mornings I had to actually go back into kitchen area for a refill. The rest of the trip I went out for breakfast. Overall this hotel is a 5 star hotel, the restaurant knocks it down to a 4. If I could review it separately, it would be a -2.

The hotel was all that you would expect from a new Holiday Inn. New, clean, nice spacious rooms. Flat screens, free wi-fi. The bar looked nice, but it wasn't really a bar. Everyone knows that a bar doesn't close at 10PM. 11PM or 12AM, maybe, but 10PM is just time to get back to the hotel and have a nightcap. There were a lot of disappointed people there Thursday night about 22:15

Hotel public areas as well as rooms are superbly decorated. Rooms are spacious with a sitting area and well sized bathroom. Front desk staff and van driver(s) were very friendly and accommodating. Lighting in the room is not the most flattering and could be warmer, but it was very adequate. I saw an indoor pool but did not have opportunity to use it, and if you enjoy laying in the sun there is only a tiny area adjacent to the indoor pool that has only 2 lounge chairs. The hotel has a resonably priced breakfast buffet, but it was small and did not look appetizing so I skipped breakfast at the hotel. I was extremely pleased with the accommodation and would not hesitate to return. I found this hotel way above typical Holiday Inn standards.
