“Stunning views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Our room was large, comfortable and the view in the morning out of our window was truly spectacular. The staff were friendly and courteous, yes the drinks are expensive but we experienced that over most of Jordan, Great location as the entrance to Petra is only 10-15 minutes away by car. We found the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet perfectly fine although not gourmet - the puddings were to die for. One of our party had a birthday and they made a really good cake and brought it out singing in Arabic with the lights turned off - no extra charge - fantastic! We loved our 3 nights at this hotel.

Room Tip: try to get a room overlooking the mountains - it makes your heart skip a beat when you open the curt...

A lovely Marriott with great views of the valley and Aaron's Tomb. Wonderful bedding, nice staff, delicious breakfast. We came in late and order room service and it was delicious. It is about a 10 minute drive from the entrance to Petra.

Room noisy from main road, air conditioning faulty, breakfast poor, dinner poor. Service surly and rude. Check bills, they added someone else's bar bill to mine, then refused to remove it. Expensive for food and drink £4 for a 250ml coke? £9 for a 330ml beer. Avoid.

Cant really add much more to the good reviews this hotel gets but it deserves it. Great customer service, Mr. Hassan at the front desk was very helpful, he gave us a warm welcome and checked with us if everything is fine, the most beautiful view I ever seen, we really had a wonderful stay, thank you Marriott.

This was my first time to stay in Petra for two nights, I've only passed by Petra on my way to Aqaba before. I was told to stay in Marriott Petra for it being very close to the Petra City and for having spectacular views which is an understatement to how breath taking the view was.

Service was very good which in Jordan and I'd say this as a Jordanian was quiet refreshing.

The room was big, clean, and very comfortable

The dinner buffet and hotel's facilities however felt a little like those of a 3 stars hotel and not of Marriott's standards level and didn't correspond to how much we paid for the room for two nights.

1 really disappointing point was that the fitted sheet on the bed had a tear in it seemingly from before and they still used it on the bed, it was quiet surprising to see that tear in the sheets when we removed the bed cover

Room Tip: choose a room on the higher floors and of the pool side because you get to see the mountains behind...

We stayed here for two nights as part of a trip through Gate 1 Travel. We were very impressed! The view of the mountains from the dining room and lobby area were amazing. If it had been warmer, I am sure it would have been so neat to swim and have the mountains as the backdrop. Our tour guide said not to miss the sunset, and it did not disappoint. The room was nice with big beds, and the food was great. We had a meal plan for dinner, and compared to other hotels we stayed in for this trip, this Marriott offered a buffet (others offered a set menu). The beef stew was my favorite thing there! The waiters were friendly and nice as were the front desk staff. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor while you check in on the 4th. The hotel is about a 10-minute cab ride to the city center of Wadi Musa (said our tour guide); we never went into the city because we were exhausted after our full day in Petra. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room had a view of the entrance to the hotel, so it was nothing special, but other rooms on the...

Typical of what you'd expect from the Marriott: comfy rooms and good service. The location allows great view of the mountain range.
Petra is a short drive away, allowing travellers to be far enough from the town to relax in a quiet setting after a long trek through the ancient valley.
