I stayed at the Marriott Petra for two nights on a visit to Jordan. The hotel is located outside the town of Wadi Musa, and is a bit of a hike to the town itself. The views from the hotel are amazing and a nice introduction to the entire Petra experience.
Since the hotel is a bit isolated, we ate dinner there both nights, as well as the included breakfast buffet. The food was good, the breakfast buffet especially so. Dinner choices were somewhat basic, but OK.
The major disappointment was that the pool was out of order. After a long day hiking through Petra, it would have been great to come back and dive in the pool. Instead, I opted to go into Wadi Musa and visit a local hammam.
