The hotel was conveniently located a short walk from the entrance to Petra. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, probably because we were part of a tour, our rooms were located on the "mezzanine" - prefixed by M before the room number. If you're offered one of these rooms turn it down immediately! They are located directly below the restaurant which has a tiled floor and every chair scrape and footstep is audible from 6am as breakfast is organised. The room had dodgy electrical sockets and the shower head was perfectly positioned so that the water hit the too short shower curtain and flooded the bathroom!! Breakfast time was a bit of a farce - for a hotel that takes tour groups that all want breakfast early so they can either leave or go into Petra, there was one member of staff trying to cook omelettes, serve coffee and renew the food that about 100 people were rapidly eating. The tables were littered with used crockery and clearly the poor guy couldn't cope . Very badly organised. However, it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't recommend staying here - the location made it all worthwhile.
