When reading the comments of myself and others, if you've never been to Bulgaria, remember its recent history, so its got a long way to catch up typical northern european standards. But they are catching up and they are doing their best. Also factor in the price to get a real picture of what to expect. We've been to Bulgaria a few times over the last 15 years and things are getting better. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
It's an easy 3 - 4 minute walk to the gondola lift
We stayed a week ski ing at half term (mum, dad and two kids 9 and 11). The room was big, actually it was two rooms knocked into one, but it was the biggest family room we've ever been in. The beds were big and comfy. The food was good, in that it catered for everyone and there was plenty of it. It's self service and not restaurant quality, but its good enough to set you up for the day and fill you up at the end.
The pool downstairs is small, but big enough for the amount of people in it. The sauna and jacuzzi hot and big enough. The gym again is small and simple, but big enough for simple exercises.
