Stopped at this B&B on a motorcycle run through Arkansas. Didn't go their for the diamonds, just a stopping point along the way. Upon arrival there was a note on the door to call if the inn keeper wasn't around, and sure enough in a couple of rings Buddy answered and told us to let ourselves in. Buddy told me that I could park my motorcycle on the concrete.
We stayed in the Embassy Suite, with access to the pool. Pool towels were rolled up in a basket by the door, and the room also had a large table, seating area, and dorm style refrigerator available for our use. Accommodations were pleasant, clean, with plenty of free water/sodas/coffee/snacks available all day long. Late afternoon Buddy stopped by to check in on us and see how all the guests were doing. The inn keeper also works at their restaurant in town when they are busy, so she shuttles around as needed.
There isn't much to do in the town, and very few choices for eating. The town rolls up at night, except for the Sonic. The breakfast included at Buddy's restaurant was generous, and only a 1/2 mile towards town.
We didn't realize this town was dry, but Buddy took care of us. His wife, and daughter hung out with family at the pool in the back yard and chatted with us until late at night. Great hospitality, and good 'ole boy treatment.
The home does need a bit of maintenance here and there, but overall was quaint and nice. Some extra supplies for the room (toiletries) would of been nice. I would definitely stay here in the future.
Realize you are in very rural Arkansas, and this isn't a 5 star resort. Go in with expectations of a relaxing place to stay - especially if your digging in the dirt for diamonds. They had plenty of supplies for the guests that were there especially for that.
