“Amazing sights & amazing staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2011

We got there late (5 mins to closing time) the last tour leaves an hour before closing so we had very little expectations of seeing anything. We went in and spoke to the rangers who really went out there way to help us.
One of them arranged for us to be taken down and see the caverns from the main entrance. We didnt get to see it all but we got to see the expanse of the main chamber (which is huge) and got some amazing photos. Also we were the only ones down there, it was so peaceful.
We were so impressed with the cavern and the staff, we were just sad not to be able to go on a tour as we had to move out of the area that night.
My advice is get there early and chat to the rangers, they are helpful and informative.

“So gorgeous it's amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2011

I'd been to Mammoth Cave in KY and thought that was the best thing I'd seen; and I've been to Wyoming, Arizona, all over. So I was blah about going to another cavern. How could it compare? I was so naive. That's like saying you won't go to the Tetons because you've been to the Rockies. Both mountains so what's to see? ha! This is magnificent, massive and tiny all at the same time. A MUST SEE. and don't fret if you can't get good pics; talented people post theirs to Flickr!

“Do not miss!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2011

This is by far the most beautiful cave in the area. It is huge with beautiful formations. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We went 3 hours off our route to go and we are so glad we did. Can't wait to return for the Discovery Tour. The Dripstone Tour is recommended if you are a first time visitor.

“Awesome! But don't take Hwy 9 to get there.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2011

Cavern was totally amazing. Guides were very informative. Very reasonable price. If your GPS tells you to take hwy 9 don't do it!! Extremely steep and curvy for many many miles. I was nauseated by the time i got off this road!! Cave staff gave us another route home Hwy 14 and it was much better.

“Just an amazing place to visit and full of history and adventure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2011

I cannot begin to explain this place in a way to do it justice. It's just one of those places that should be experienced and not simply read about. The guides are friendly and informative, the history is fascinating, and the views are breathtaking.
