“GREAT!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Every year we take a small family vacation. Thanks to Mountain Harbor Resort, this was rated our number one from the entire family. The condo was wonderful, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We rented a speed boat from the marina and skied and tubed all day. LOVED IT ALL. Close enough to Hot Springs allowing us to travel in for dinner and entertainment. Would recommend to any family or couple of any age group.

Mt. Harbor Resort is one of the most beautiful places in Arkansas to visit. Lake Ouachita is a very clear, beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. The lakeview condos available through Mt. Harbor are wonderful.

Room Tip: We stayed in 308C Vista which is a lakeview condo. It was beautiful and fully furnished with everyt...

We were picking up our daughter from summer camp and Mountain Harbor was recommended to us. We had a nice stay and the people were very nice from check-in to check-out. The restaurant is located on-site. The food was good. We were not aware that it was in a Dry County so make sure you prepare ahead of time should you want to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine during your stay.

Like going back in time. But while that's nice for some things, not so for the rooms and bathrooms which are dated. Bathroom extremely small and uncomfortable. And room was extremely pricey for the area so price to value ratio was way out of line.

We rented a large condo for a long weekend, and everything was absolutely perfect. The condo was newly remodeled with a lakeside view. The staff called within an hour of check-in to see if we needed anything. They called a couple days later, too, to see if we needed anything. We never needed a thing. Everything worked great in the condo (nice appliances, washer/dryer, etc.). They supplied basic toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion), hair dryers, towels, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, and paper towels. So, we were all set. We plan to come back next year and stay at the same condo! Truly A+ experience.

As a side note for travelers, we flew into Hot Springs and rented a car. The drive was ~20 minutes to the resort. Grocery stores are limited near the park, and there are only a few restaurants on the resort or accessible by boat in the near area. I'd recommend stocking up at Hot Springs (or Mt. Ida, which is the nearest town).

The room was close to the restaurant; similar in size to most hotel rooms. It was furnished with a king size bed, couch, TV, refrigerator, microwave, patio, and plenty of towels. The staff were very helpful and kind. There were plenty of activities on the property including swimming pools, boating, hiking, and fishing.
