We visited the Teahouse Cafe and Restaurant in Lincoln, on the recommendation of a stallholder in the Lincoln Farmers' market, for lunch on a grey and cold autumn day in April 2014 . Although the cafe was nearly full, the very welcoming staff, (dressed in a very fetching uniform which featured a lovely and flattering lace top), found us a seat. The cafe is located in an old style house and the decor is very elegant. The tables have beautiful table cloths and vintage crockery. The menu is the usual cafe food, done very very well. We chose a soup and a sandwich. The soup was totally delicious as was the sandwich. The service was gracious and hospitable. We really enjoyed the lovely warm atmosphere and the food. This was a lovely stop and highly recommended.
