“Pure perfection!”

What a wonderful vacation this was! My husband and I stayed for five nights over Labor Day weekend. The weather was great, the beaches beautiful,
the pools spectacular and the food...fabulous! The resort was amazingly clean, our butlers Jose and Lagua were super friendly and helpful, the dining staff gave exceptional service (we loved Franklin) and the Star Friends were fun and friendly! Tommy and Maria as well as all the activities staff were full of personality and kept us laughing...loved the egg toss! We enjoyed every moment of this vacation and look forward to returning. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Punta Cana but the Iberostar Grand Bavaro. We loved It! Thank you to the staff for a perfect trip!
One last thought...please tip the staff at this wonderful resort...they work so hard and are so appreciative... :)

My husband and I stayed at the hotel 16-23 of august. After searching a lot and trusting tripadvisor's reviews we decided to splurge a bit and choose Iberostar Grand Bavaro. The best choice ever!! Upon arrival we had our champaign and a very warm welcome from all the employees that we met at the time. Check in took place within seconds-although we arrived at noon and check in policy is at 15:00! The room (standard) was more than expected, spacious, clean, equipped with coffeemaker and many kinds of coffees, iron and safe box. We immediately felt like home! The butler was very kind and showed us all room comforts, yes every storey has at least one butler who makes it fell like being exclusive for you! The food was beyond expectations! Breakfast had everything omelattes on demand, fresh juices, cakes, sweets, french toasts, many kind of cereals, oat soup, even caviar! For lunch the buffet offered was huge with plenty to choose from, burgers, lobsters, crabs, all kinds of meat, fishes,pasta,pizza, fresh salads, ice cream and I could really go on..! At the end dinner... OMG!!! four a la carte restaurants which required a reservation and another whith diffrent buffet theme every night. All 5 were at least perfect, tasteful and gourmet could not think that they are part of an all inclusive!!! We also has room service which was amazing! The pools were clean, warm and had no problem to find a sunbed or cabana. The best part though was the beach!!! The blue green waters, the palm trees and the white sand create a dream scenery perfect for relaxation and tranquillity. Service on the beach is perfect lots of coctails, plenty draft beer and snacks just ask for them! The grounds of the resort are breathtaking, waters everywhere with flamingos, fishes, sea turtles and gooses! Do not miss to have a drink on the boat at night it is magical! To end this long review, the service, as mentioned by other travellers, is one of a kind, smiles everywhere and ready to serve all your needs. Please tip those guys the work hard and the deserve it! This resort is really more than amazing...

We spent five days and I wish we could have stayed longer. It was just beautiful. There's no rush in the morning to get chairs, you're greeted every morning and night by the staff. They cater to you, even by the pool. The rooms were so clean. I can't say one bad thing about this resort. I loved it!

This was my first stay at an Iberostar, and thought trying out the Grand would be a great way to get introduced to the brand. We had a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely look to stay at another Iberostar Grand in the future.
Overall the atmosphere was very relaxed, however I'm sure this was due to low occupancy at the hotel. I certainly didn't mind, as there was no competition to get a seat on the beach, around the pool, or at the swim up pool bar. The only thing we had trouble with was getting reservations at the a la carte restaurants.
I don't expect much when it comes to food at all inclusives, but I will say this was probably one of the better places I have stayed.
Service was great, the place was immaculate, and you never had to look far for a friendly face to help you out.

Room Tip: We stayed in 7017, ground floor by the pool. I was afraid this would mean noise, but with an adults...

My husband and I stayed at this amazing all inclusive resort for our honeymoon at the end of April of and it was spectacular.

The service was amazing, we stayed in an ocean front suit which was just beautiful, they cleaned it twice a day, always restocked everything. We got room service numerous times not to mention the "bath service" which was incredibly romantic.

The beach is phenomenal and the food was delicious! We loved the buffets bc of the huge selection. We met great couples vacationing as well, and the staff was so kind. We absolutely would recommend this resort to anyone and look forward to going back. Five stars from these newlyweds!!

We spent a week at this resort and can hardly wait to go back!
The people and the service = 5+ stars
The food and drinks were great !!!
The rooms were also as expected and cleaned twice per day - just let your butler know what you need and he will take care of the rest

We spent allot of time selecting a resort and used trip advisor reviews to guide us to this resort and the 5 star rating is bang on and well deserved!!!

Our stay couldn't have been more spectacular. The staff at the Iberostar Grand was the best I have ever experienced. We have some superstars we would like to mention.
Miguel our Butler, went over and beyond the call of duty. He was attentive but not over done and so genuine.
Androgracia - food service, can I just say I miss her smile and hugs. She went out of her way to make sure our needs were taken care of including finding some red chile pepper for my friend's pasta. She greated us each day to say hello.
Daisy (food) greeted us every day with conversation, smiles, and genuine gestures of good will.
Franklin was our favorite waiter and I would recommend sitting in his section each meal. He has a heart of gold and a smile to go with it.
Irvry (Bar) and Bruno at the hotel lobby bar greated us each day with smiles and patience with our in decisions on what to drink today.
Boom Boom (floor) made us laugh with his stories and costumes. You can tell he loves his job and it showed. His love of baseball story will always be instilled in my heart.
Rosy - I would look you up again at the pool bar for your surprise drink!

If you are looking for great service, and a peaceful wonderful hotel - don't hestitate any longer. The Iberostar Grand is a quiet peaceful hotel, with great service, great food and great people. 9/1/13 - 9/17/13 rooms 7112 and 7113.

Our room was decorated each night with flowers and turn down service each evening. Our room was blocked a bit for any ocean view, but the garden was beautiful. The hotel halls have fragrance oil burning in these small containers as well as your room, so it never smells musty or moldy due to the moisture.
