“Beautiful quiet hotel, wonderful service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

We stayed at The Elements for 7 nights over Christmas last year as part of our Honeymoon trip. The plan was to explore Krabi after spending 4 nights on a secluded Tubkaek Beach. The hotel was very comfortable - we had the best room located in a quieter part of the resort with direct pool access from our terrace. I would recommend paying a bit more for this as you'll only share the pool with few other rooms, providing thy're occupied. The room was large, had great bathroom with rain shower and jacuzzi, very comfortable bed and dressing area. Terrace with loungers was lovely too and we enjoyed sipping cocktails there on an evening while dipping in a pool surrounded by the most amazing lush garden. The hotel is not located on a most beautiful beach of Ao Nang but the location was a bonus for us - far away from the crowded and noicy town and perfect for relaxing and chilling out. We planned to do a day trip every day and the hotel staff was most helpful to organise whatever we wanted to do. Our SLR stopped working on a second day due to humidity and the driver took as to the shopping centre so we can get a new camera. He even walked us to the right shop and made sure we got it! Another driver took us to town one night and after dropping us off turned the car back and walked over to ask if we need to be guided to a certain place as we did look a bit lost trying to find a particular restaurant. We loved the service at the Elements altogether, particularly the drivers and a waiter called Two. We had a private dinner on a terrace of our room one night and he did an amazing job serving us, very friendly and polite despite the language barrier. The manager was extremely helpful too and always tried to speak to us. We could ask her about anything, including customs and culture and she would always try to help. Her friendly attitude must have transmitted to the rest of the staff as we felt like coming back home every evening. On Christmas Day the whole team knocked on our door to wish us Merry Chrismas and we got a little gift from Santa Claus!
Breakfast selection was good, especially the choice of local fruit and jams. The only slight downside was quality of food with relation to the price. We had dinners there twice which were not cheap but pretty average. The choice of diner dishes could be improved, however we did like it and dinner on the terrace was particularly nice.
Overall we loved the Elements and would recommend it to anyone seeking a getaway to this tropical paradise in Krabi!

Stayed at this hotel for 3days and two nights together with my colleagues for a Krabi adventure! The hotel is a little bit far from Ao Nang (town proper) so it's best to have a service going to and from the property.

Upon checking in, we were welcomed with complimentary drinks and cold sanitary towels for us to freshen up. The concierge helped us with all our luggages to our respective rooms.

Our room is a pool-access room that is elegantly designed. Big bathroom, spacious room, clean, comfy bed, very cozy that is. The staff were so friendly and kind and willing to accommodate our wants and needs. As we are about to go on our island hopping adventure, they provided each one of us big towels to bring for our trip.

Complimentary breakfast is served and there's a lot of variety to choose from, you'll definitely have a happy tummy early in the morning. :)

There's a lot of facilities this hotel offers. They have a playground, fitness area, pool (billiards), small library, spa and sauna, and an entertainment room which is big and nice, and the best thing about these facilities... they are all for free use except for the spa! And there's free WiFi as well! ^^,)

They have a very honest housekeeper also because upon checking out the front desk informed us that I left my phone in my room and they returned it back to me.. :)

The hotel is very peaceful, serene, and sophisticated. We will definitely recommend this hotel and we certainly enjoyed our stay. Kudos for the great service!

Room Tip: Pool-access rooms are nice!

Lovely hotel with a nice pool, super restaurant and lovely, confortable rooms. Only small inconvenience was the location - its on the beach, but not a very nice one! The hotel does, however, offer shuttles to some great beaches and other locations. The hotel staff fall over backwards to do what they can for you. Very pleasant stay.

This is not a property for a party animal. It's located significantly away from the bustling areas. The western views ensure fantastic sunsets over the sea. Rooms are comfortable and clean and most of all - well kept. This is however mainly because of the fact the property is still rather new. The pool area is very well proportioned. The gym however has a lot to be desired. Main suggestion to the owners : organize more frequent shuttle services to AoNang beach. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory and generally a place worth staying (bang for the buck). Recommended!

Room Tip: Ask for highest floor to get sea views

My family and I stayed at The Elements for 5 days in Jun 2012 but felt that it was too short. The place is a family friendly and great for relaxatiion.Hotel staffs were ever friendly and helpful..and Justin u da mannnn!!! you're amazing!!.The dinner and breakfast were superb. We like the away from the city location as it makes this place like returning to home, when you had spent the day at Ao Nang.We enjoyed the free bicycle where we can cycled around the countryside and see the locals. And oh..the beaches were all so lovely. In all, we throughly enjoy Krabi and for sure we will visit The Elements again.
