My second time here in two years proved to me what a jewel this is in an ordinary city. The location, around the corner from the church and newly renovated plaza, a few blocks from the market and two blocks from a fabulous dessert place.
The spacious rooms are plain. The courtyard is peaceful and charming. The free Internet is a strong signal , but the dining room is our favorite part. The food was fabulous including dear desserts at every meal.
The coffee was not great, which made tea drinkers of many of us who would have preferred a good cup of coffee. We discovered that when they made the coffee in the small pot it tasted great. Only when they made the coffee in the large coffee maker was it subpar.
We also liked the many comfortable chairs and coffee tables outside the rooms for enjoying the pleasant weather and sunsets. The jacaranda tree in the parking lot is a treasure when blooming.
