We have just arrived home from our geart holiday.We were a bit worried about going after the reviews we read, but their was no need.We had the best time ever and did not want to leave,I have 2 children one of 4 and 11 and they both loved it.The animation team are the best and work very hard to make everyone happy.They have games and activities for everyone all day and always put on a show at night.Their is a relaxed atmosphere here and is quite a quiet place but thats all the better.The rooms were cleaned every day and the food was great,my youngest is very fussy but she did not starve.Their is not much to do outwith the hotel at night but you could always get a taxi into caberete and it doesnt cost much.We will be going back next year and if I had my way I would go back tomorrow.Honestly its a beautifull place and very friendly.

After staying at Celuisma Paraiso Tropical for the second time recently I can definitely recommend that you pay this wonderful place a visit!

The staff work hard night and day to ensure that your stay is memorable for all of the right reasons. The animation team are an amazing group of people, they are enthusiastic and hardworking and like everyone else that I have met in Cabarete over the five visits I have made they are among some of the most friendly people you could ever wish to meet.

The food is lovely in all restaurants in the hotel and rooms are cleaned daily.

If you haven't visited Celuisma Paraiso Tropical....what are you waiting for???

I have stayed here twice and without a doubt will be returning as soon as possible!!

I stayed at Celuisma Paraiso Tropical for the first time in Aug/September 2008 for two weeks and have recently returned from my second visit to this hotel. The location is perfect, just a short journey into Cabarete where you can look around the shops or visit kite beach. There are many great bars and restaurants in Cabarete too.

The hotel itself is set in beautiful, well maintained grounds and there is a very friendly atmosphere here. All of the staff here work hard to ensure that you enjoy your stay. I have been to Cabarete five times now, for my two most recent visits I stayed at this hotel. In this short time it has become my ‘segunda casa’ (my second home). We have made so many friends there and there is no doubt that we will be returning soon!!

The rooms are bright and spacious and are cleaned on a daily basis. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful if you have any queries they are happy to help. The food is plentiful, there is always something different for you to try. The waiters and bar staff are also friendly and it takes them no time at all to remember what your drink is! Once you have been there for a day or so, you’ll find that your drinks are already on order before you arrive for your dinner!! As well as serving three meals a day in the main restaurant, there is snack time in the afternoon at one of the bars, there are also two other restaurants that you can visit once a week during your stay, Thai and Mexican. The food served here is fantastic and defiantly worth a visit during your stay.

The hotel has two bars ‘merengue’ bar and ‘bachata’ bar. One is near the beach and the other is closer to reception (the sports bar) and has two snooker tables and a large TV where you can watch sport. The many daily activities led by the animation team include; stretchy stretchy, Spanish lessons, beach volley ball, water aerobics, tropical bowling, water polo, football on the beach, darts and many other ‘crazy games’. You also have the opportunity to have a diving lesson in the pool and horse riding on the beach.

There are two pools and two jacuzzis that are well maintained. The animation team are EXCELLENT!! They work so hard everyday and provide so many activities during the day; there is no chance that you will be bored!! Every night they put on a show or do some sort of activity!! The hotel also has a newly refurbished disco that is open three nights a week. They play a mixture of Dominican and other music. (but the DJ is open to requests!!).

The beach is beautiful too and once a week there is a beach party night. The team bring the music to the beach and encourage everyone to play ‘party games.’ During the day if you choose to relax on the beach, you can watch the kite surfers. If you feel energetic enough you can have kite surfing lessons at wind bay kite school, which is positioned on the beach at the hotel. (Take your friends along…group lessons are cheaper!).

I wrote a review of this resort after I stayed there in April 2009. I didn't think I could possibly rave about it any more than I already did, but here I am recently returned from my 2nd stay with the Celuisma and I have to write again to reiterate how wonderful a spot this is!

A friend and I traveled from East Coast Canada to the Celuisma for one week in June. We were a little nervous about the heat, but because the resort is right on the beach, the wind kept things temperate. Once again, the beach was clean and well maintained. The pools were sparkling and meticulously maintained. Our room (303 this time) was very clean when we arrived and we had no issues whatsoever with the air conditioner, the showers, toilet or even the television set. The maids kept us clean and organized and did such a great job every day.

As a repeat client, the General Manager made a point of meeting us and sent a hospitality fruit/pastry tray to our room with beverages. Very nice of him!

The animation staff had changed a little bit in the two months I was absent, but the quality and professionalism definitely remained the same. Once again I say this group of hard working young people positively made the trip for me and my friend. Their enthusiasm is infectious, their talent is huge and their desire to please is second to none. I saw a whole different set of shows (from what I had attended in April) and was once again blown away by the impressive talents of the animation manager Joan, and his staff (this time, Luciano, Johanny, Delviana, Claudia, Cappuchino and Franklin).

Staying at this resort once might qualify one to write a review, but I feel VERY qualified now after spending my second visit with them. The hotel is wonderful, the entire staff is now like family to me and it breaks my heart to know that I have to wait four months this time until I can return. I could not recommend this resort more.
