They have reasonable prices, pleasant service, enough menu items to choose from. Food was served hot and service was quick.

“Must Visit When in CamSur Naga City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Went to Naga City and CamSur with friends last September. The city was abuzz with the celebration of the Penafrancia festival. Stayed in Villa Caceres Hotel. As usually happens when I visit other places in the country or abroad, I asked the hotel staff where the must visit restaurant is to eat great bicol food. We were given directions to Miggy's. The place was very near the hotel as I was told to just walked a few distance to get there. The place from the outside looked unassuming. But when we walked inside, I was immediately reminded of my visit to Halo Halo de Iloko. Great native interiors, wooden furnishings, airy and open. The touch of the swing was a great idea. Saw several children crowding over the swing. The menu looked immediately tempting. We ordered the native tinolang manok, pinangat, laing, gulay na santol, ginisang tabios, crispy pata and sizzling mixed seafood. What a blast it was! Our first time to try the pinangat, santol and the tabios and it was just great. Spicy! Though I tried the BukNok tinola in San Fernando La Union, Miggy's native tinolang manok was tastier and just superb. The sizzling mixed seafood is a must. Haven't tried anything like it before. The skin of the crispy pata was extra crispy and the meat very tender. We asked the waiter why the laing was crisp, juicy and tasy not liked the laing we have here in manila. Told us they only use fresh coconut milk for their food. Our orders though took time to arrive but maybe because the place was quite full. Pricewise, a great value for money.

Miggy's is a great discovery! Absolutely not to miss when you go to Bicol! Oh, and the sisig is great with beer which we had after the dinner :)

“Delicious and Authentic Bicolano Dishes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

We ate at Miggy's as we were looking for an alternative to what's available at the hotel we were staying at.

Miggy's had simple furnishings, simple but really nice ambiance though it's frontage facing the street is a bit narrow and so if you are not familiar with the place, it would be so easy to miss. As Magsaysay Avenue in Naga City is lined up with lots of good places to eat, this would be a disadvantaged.

We had a pleasant experience as we had a sampling of their various Bicolano fare. They were all so delicious and just the way I like my Bicolano dishes ... spicy!

Although staff were very polite and provided good service, management may just need to add some more warm bodies to efficiently serve Miggy's growing number of satisfied customers.
