“Back Where it Belongs!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Breakfast at Antonio's was one of my favorite Tagaytay restaurants years back. Unfortunately, it closed some years ago and was moved beside the famous sister restaurant in Niyogan. It has recently made a comeback to its former spot and a welcome site for many of its fans from way back. Certainly a must stop in Tagaytay or on the way to and from Batangas!

“Too pricey and too popular for breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

One of the more high end breakfast place in Tagaytay. The menu doesn't have pictures so you just pick based on how the item is described.

Some of the food items were very good but some were not.The Eggs Benedict was a disappointment because of the small size and the bland hollandaise sauce. The corned beef frittata was very good because the corned beef was very tender and flavorful (not your typical canned variety) and complimented the eggs well. The pancakes were too dense - you can probably get better ones at Pancake house

Admittedly, the place looks nice and very elegant. Too busy, thought, for one to have a leisurely and quiet breakfast. Try to hold out for a table beside the window so you can have a fantastic view of Taal Volcano.

Personally, I would think twice before spending P500-P600 for breakfast. If you got money to spend, good for you! There are some items on the menu worth exploring further.

“Antonio's Tagaytay magic”

Likes -
restaurant ambience, menu offers, bakery corner...

Dislikes -
overpriced veggie corner, marmalade selections at the bakery - too sweet!, heavy customer traffic (price of popularity ...)
