“Terrible Hotel. NEVER AGAIN!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

We took the executive room. Our room is dusty. And the toilet is very dirty and very yucky! This hotel needs a major renovation. When you look at the hotel facade you will think its a nice hotel. But once you enter their rooms you feel you want to die. And once you start using the bathroom you will feel your like in hell. Good thing there is a Jollibee fastfood right in front of the hotel.

Hotel staff are also not friendly. They have a gym but can only accommodate less than five persons. The hotel has no elevator. Good luck if you have arthritis.

My three kids and I stayed in Room 316, an Executive Room, which accommodates 3 adults. The room itself is fine, with a double and single beds. There's a couch as well as a refrigerator. It has a flat screen tv, but there's no remote control. It would have been a value-for-money accommodation if not for several issues on CLEANLINESS. I could have let go of the old fixtures in the bathroom, but the condition and filth are unacceptable. Here is the list of problems:
1. The refrigerator is dirty with strands of hair in it. I had to have it cleaned before putting in drinks and food.
2. The bathroom tiles were wet when we got in. Very unsafe with the puddles of water all over.
3. Again, strands of hair all over the bathroom- on the tiles, in the sink, in the tub, on the mirror.
4. The shower curtain is very dirty.
5. The tiles in front of the sink are full of splats of toothpaste from brushing.
6. The shower fixtures are corroded, full of rust, mildew and molds.

In general, the room is fine/average but the bathroom is overly terrible. The management should look into these and check who's cleaning Room 316.

We arrived at 1:00 pm and the room was not ready yet but we were able to leave our stuff at their office to have lunch at Jollibee just in front of the hotel. Parking is not a problem with the spaces in front of the hotel and in the basement.

We like staying here since the rooms are relatively new. Everything's pretty clean and the prices aren't bad. The free breakfast could really improve though - tastes bad! They shouldn't have placed it right bwhind Jollibee though, when you're out on the veranda you can smell Jollibee grease and it ruins the view too.

The rooms overall are way better than other places in Tagaytay who charge the same amount for dirty, smelly rooms.

The receptionists at this place are very rude and snobbish though. They could use a lesson in customer service.

We booked a room with a veranda only to find out that the only view we'd have is that of Jollibee. Though the room is quite spacious, it's a sad place to be in. The furniture are old and creaky, the shower is busted and moldy, the faucet pours brownish water (if there is water) and there's a little cockroach crawling about the bathroom. In the evening, there was terrible noise coming from the exhaust from Jollibee, which, by the way, was turned off at 11pm (so be prepared to be up late). Meanwhile, in the morning, we were AGAIN greeted by the noise (and smell) from Jollibee at 5am. What a way to wake up!! And a tip: have breakfast somewhere else... the hotel serves breakfast as sad as its ambiance and its staff. Funnily, there would be a security guard ready to toast your bread and a guy, still on his jogging pants and out-of-bed-just-woken-up face, serving your lousy fried eggs and corned beef. SO, point is, if you could go anywhere else when you're in Tagaytay, do so.

A few weeks before the local elections we checked the place out. Prices are friendly and rooms are clean. It is just behind Jollibee (popular fast food chain) that opens up to late night.
We had a long day roaming around the city and dining ....
Sleep time :
You can hear conversations from the other room and people passing by because of the plywood walls. The election campaign also added to the noise.

Buffet breakfast of rice, egg and hotdog. Coffee too
Pool @ 50 pesos per person
Parking may not be enough

Not good for couples - go figure
Not good for families with kids - specially noisy ones
Good for backpackers who are after a long tiring day you may not mind the noise

Again prices are friendly
Since it is just in the highway and near the public market, one can easily get to ride public transport.

Room Tip: Beware of the plywood walls - You will hear whispers from the next room and specially passers-by - y...

I and my husband decided to go to Tagaytay and spend overnight. It so hapened that I booked this hotel since the room per night is reasonable enough, there is a pool, and easy to find location. When we got to the hotel we were assisted and since I left the deposit slip they considered booking payment I made 2 days ago at the bank (anyway scanned copy was sent thru email). When we got to our room which is at the 4th flr, room was ok and clean, bed is soft and neat, but the smell of the bathroom is terrible - seems like someone used it before us arriving, the bathroom floor was wet. The remote also was not working. Not recommended for long stay buy only if you want something reasonable. I will not be booking at this hotel again the next time we decide to go to Tagaytay and and stay overnight.

My friends and I stayed here overnight during our trip to Tagaytay. Generally, we had no problems checking in except that the walk-in rates were actually cheaper than booking sites. So please check the rates with the hotel prior to booking. There was really nothing special about the hotel except that our room was big, parking was free, and that there was a Jollibee in front. The Jollibee makes the hotel easy to spot. The hotel boasts free WiFi yet it does not work inside the rooms. It is only available near the lobby. It had a small gym that no one uses. The hotel interior was renovated but the exterior and bathrooms were outdated. The bathroom was also big but water pressure was bad and there were hard water stains throughout the bathroom.

Normally, I will not recommend the hotel to my friends. But if they are looking for a cheap hotel in a quiet area in Tagaytay, I might consider recommending the hotel.
