Great view of Taal Volcano. Great customer service. Even the guards are courteous. We checked in earlier than the regular check in time but they didn't charge us. The place is serene and really peaceful.

I still think it's a bit overpriced but maybe it's also because of the great rooms overlooking Taal Lake. The design of the rooms are very elegant.

It is connected to a supermarket or a small Robinson's Market so you can easily get your supplies.

The free breakfast buffet is just average.

Since this is a relatively new hotel in Tagaytay, the rooms are large, comfortable, clean, well-equipped and modern. I had a wonderful view of the Taal Volacano and its lake from my veranda. I was told each of the rooms have a great view of this natural beauty. Whenever I woke up early enough to catch the sunrise, I was treated to a spectacular show of salmon pink, orange, and blue hues. There is free wi-fi in the rooms, and since the hotel is adjacent to a mall, there is never a lack of things to amuse yourself with, including shopping. The free breakfast buffet that comes with the room offers a wide variety of food : hot congee or noodle soups with all the fixings, fresh fruits and salad greens (again with all the fixings), a variety of breads, jams, and other spreads, an egg station where you can have eggs cooked the way you want it, and the usual array of bacon, sausages, smoked fish, etc. All in all, a great place to stay in when you're in Tagaytay!

Room Tip: It's right along the main highway so it's easy to access whether you're commuting or bri...

Decent hotel still has that great location however VERY OVERPRICED for what it is. Breakfast and staff is very good. The booking web site is behind the times and is not current with "PROMOS".

Suggest pricing target of 2500P a night. Better rooms on the ridge for less money. If value is what you want then look elsewhere since this property aks for too much for too little.Anything more is over the top got the cash then its OK...

The ambiance of Summit Ridge strikes me more of that of an office building rather than that of a hotel. They have a wide cemented parking space in front of their edifice. The lobby has several living sets at strategic places. There is a no-nonsense reception area, a glass encased coffee shop and a small stall of Rowena’s sweets. The ballroom can also be found at the lobby. They have a scenic elevator in going up to the upper floors. We made an ocular inspection of the two bedroom suite that we had wanted to reserve for Easter. We found the amenities in order. There were two separate bedrooms with twin beds each, and a common bathroom. The living-dining-kitchen common area has a sofa, a table and a number of chairs where you can converse/ eat/ watch television/ simply watch the scene from the window. The suite has a view of Josephine’s Restaurant across the street. However, the corridor leading to the suite has an unsightly view of the construction going on at several high-rise buildings (located at the back of the hotel). On the plus side, Summit Ridge is within the Robinson’s commercial complex where they have the Robinson’s Supermarket and Starbucks. Dencio’s and Josephine’s Restaurants can also be found just across the street. The location is ideal for guests who would like to shop or dine in nearby restos, on foot, during their stay.Such was the case of my balikbayan friends who checked-in at Summit Ridge during their visit in September, 2011.They had an enjoyable stay in the hotel. However,in our case, we did not push through with the reservation. Not because we found the amenities lacking for an overnight stay but rather b/c we found the hotel rather drab and missing in aesthetics. Never mind if there was no vantage view of Taal lake and the volcano. I felt that it was not understandable, that given the vast area of the hotel, they did not even have a garden for relaxation. After all one goes to Tagaytay not just for the cool breeze but also the fantastic view.
