Stayed here the second time around. Thought breakfast has improved since last year but its still the same bad breakfast they serve. Not much choices considering the room rate they charge to guests. I just love their location. Housekeeping was always available.
Had a problem booking this hotel cause the reception didnt actually "reserve" the room for us making me panic days before the trip. Good thing everything was fixed.
Needs improvement: BREAKFAST

We frequent Tagaytay City since it is just nearby.
At times, no matter how you love a certain hotel, you crave for a newer one for another kind of experience.

This hotel gave us that alternative one time and it was not bad at all.
Rooms were huge enough service could not be faulted (at least when we were there).

The pool is tiny, but really, who swims in Tagaytay where it could get really cold especially at night.

Grocery and Shopping Mall is within walking distance and good restaurants are just a stone's throw away.

Nothing really extraordinary, if you ask me.
Would probably check out other hotels we haven't stayed with next time...

But hey, it gave us a fun and relaxing time when we were there so go check it for yourselves.

Hoping to spend a quiet, relaxing weekend, my family booked a room on the sixth floor of this hotel in October, having previously booked a room at the topmost floor a few months before.

The restaurant is now run by Cravings, and provided excellent meals and coffee.
The view of Taal Volcano is still breathtaking.

However, our night was spoiled by the rock concert below. Obviously, babies and noise don't mix. Also, the day after, we had to spend a long time waiting for the bellboy, who never came.

Construction work on a nearby condo also raised noise levels and air pollution significantly.

The worst part was that the room we were booked in, Room 607, sucked in all the smells of the most delicious fish grilling at the two restaurants in front of the hotel when we opened the balcony door. I guess there's nothing the hotel can do to deal with its neighbors, or?

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room at the wing near the mall.

We stayed here for an overnight getaway around mid-December and the climate was perfect! Location was very good as well as the view. Facade was really nice. The reception area was a bit barren but the reception staff has been pleasant until we check in. Yes you read it right, until you check in! Their rooms are spacious, they showed us different rooms for we're just walk-ins. The bed was comfortable but not the linen! It smells like it wasn't properly dried. Love their bathroom, its almost half the size of the room. Too bad the flat screen tv wasn't working well, it loses its volume every now and then, same with the table lamp, once tried to call for some assistance but they failed to fix it. Nice pool by the way though I never tried it coz I might freeze to death!

Don't miss the nearby Starbucks, the baristas were the best I've ever met! :)

Room Tip: Rooms that have verandas facing the road, overlooking the taal lake.

Just came back from our stay in this hotel. We like it. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony offers a spectacular view of the Taal Lake. The bathroom is spacious, water pressure is good and the hot water works well. We just have a bit of an issue with the TV/Cable provider cause the sound sometimes switches off and some channel freezes.

It's location is adjacent to restaurants and a grocery store so you don't have to worry if you need to get anything.

We just didn't like the elevator which is just two. It tends to get crowded with guests and since it's limited, we had to wait several times before we can access it.

Also, the food didn't impress us. They offer breakfast buffet but given the choices and the taste, we didn't go back for more so it would really help if they can work on improving this.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view of the lake.

We arrived in the hotel at around 8pm because we came all the way from Ortigas Pasig. After checking in, we carried our lugages by ourselves. No one helped us and no one showed us to our room. We've been into so many hotels, domestic and international but this is the first time that nobody helped us in carrying our lugages. When we arrived in the room, I was very disappointed because they gave us a twin sharing room when it is very obvious that we are a couple. We immediately requested to be transferred but according to the hotel staff that is the only room available. So we have no choice but to put the 2 beds together and again by ourselves. They did not even offer to re arrange the room for us. I was very upset because we are already tired with the travel.
Btw, we got our room in a promo rate for 3 days and 2 nights stay. I was thinking then.. is this how they treat their guest if he's under a promotional rate??

We showed up without reservations and were able to get 3 rooms at the internet promotion rate. Brilliant. The hotel is very new and shiny, and the rooms are equally so. All the rooms overlook the lake, as it's a one-sided building design with no back-facing rooms.

The rooms itself are more than adequate, with very modern bathrooms, a decent TV, comfy beds, a safe, and air conditioning. There's a Starbucks next door as well for morning coffee.

We slept through breakfast but the staff called up to remind us of this, and also offered to make up a plate and bring it to our room. Wow.

My only complaint is that the staff aren't well aware of the local dining options. For example, we were trying to get in touch with Antonio's which is considered the best restaurant in the Philippines, and one of the best in Asia. The staff had no clue about the restaurant and couldn't help me decipher which of the business listings was the real deal, and which were the fakes trying to capitalize on the name (i.e. Antonio's Grill).

Other than that complaint, the place is top notch.
