This hotel by the way the best in Toraja, used to be a very good hotel, but is a bit rundown.

The room is reasonable, as long as you are in the big building and not in the rooms of the Toraja houses.

The rooms are clean and quite good, old but everything worked.
By the way there is no air conditioning, but the hotel is rather hight situated, so at night it was ok, by opening the door to the balcony.

The hotel looks very nice but when you look a little bit closer, maintenance was done last time in the passed century. Gekkos in the room are part of the scenery. Food at the hotel restaurant is plainly bad. Very bad! At breakfast the cook dropped a fork and happily picked it up and stirred the eggs again with the same fork.... There is nothing better so if you go there, that's what you get!

Located a bit outside the centre of Rantepao (you can walk to the centre in half an hour), with a view over some rice fields. Nice pool (beware of very slippery tiles around the pool). We got a large room. Bathroom with a bath.
Everything is a bit worn and outdated.
We arrived very early in the morning after a long busride from Tentena, but we didn't have to pay extra, which was a friendly gesture.
Breakfast was good and varied.

we stayed here in august 2012 , nice place and location but in need of repair. Gym totally gone and pool closed during morning hours fot cleaning that was needed indeed but should have been done earlier.
