“Old and noisy”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

Hotel is situated near the sea and has its own beach, unfortunately - probably the worst in all Nabeul. Of course that's not a big problem, because better places to swim and sunbathe are located nearby. The room was clean, but old and probably it has not been refurbished for years. Dripping tap, TV with one local and "snowing" program and no remote control, noisy and damaged aircon, creaky balcony doors, holes in bathroom walls and floor etc.The room was cleaned daily (and cleaned properly, to be honest), but towels were not changed and even no new toilet paper was given... But the worst things we faced there were the evening so-called "discos" and breakfasts. The "discos": every day, from 8:30 pm, we were forced to listen to the same and awful childish songs ("a ram sam sam" etc.) for half an hour. Later - another set of terrible music tortured our ears till midnight. Extremely loud and awful music. It was so loud, that we couldn't sleep in our room. No chances without ear plugs. And the breakfasts... From 6:30 to 9:30 only. Every day the same: hard boiled eggs, some cheese, stale pastries, awful juice and sweet croissants. Torture. Really. The chief of waiters (or a chief in my opinion, maybe) was rude and always grimacing, the plates were sometimes a little bit unwashed and chairs and tablecloths were unclean. The dinners were ok: the so-called "restaurant" (in fact a mess-hall) was filled with a variety of quite good food. The last thing is the security of the hotel complex which consists of the main hotel building and "pyramids" (bungalows, with some rooms that were probably not used in this season and some parts really looking look abandoned)... Local people felt free to penetrate the complex and not all of them were just searching for some fun in the swimming pool... The local "animation team" was also noisy and a little bit irritating. Conclusion: not recommended.

i was in les pyramides, between 7,14 july with my wife and 2 sons, we really enjoyed our holiday, food is delicious, the room are clean, with a big smile from the room-service, personal is friendly, except there was a lot of people which are coming just to drink or to swim, and they are getting our places, near the pool or even evening, but nice hotel, just closed to the beach, in the middle of the town, so you will not have a problem finding anything nearby,
by the way the animation is really fantastic,a group of professional animators who were here the whole day sporting, crazy activities and amazing shows, thanks to all of them,

Nice hotel in Nabeul. Fair pricing and quiet rooms. Nice hub hotel if you want ot use it to visit the Cap Bon area of Tunisia. Near the beach and walking distance to nice restaurants in Nabeul.

Some parts of the hotel is well kept, clear, comfortable, In the past it was the best hotel (20 years ago) in the area. The hotel has a nice beach and swimming pool..The staff is very kind . Only problem the noicy disco music until midnight. In our room, looking for thev swimming pool it was disturbing. Here you ou can not sleep during the music. Otherwise the food is very good,

Room Tip: Not looking to swimming pool

It is a 3 star hotel which isn't the best. It's private beach is small and shallow, in fact the public beach is better. Although you do get a room with a balcony and the maid makes your bed every day, you won't be provided with a new towel. There is an a/c system, but the whole hotel has only a few remote controls for the a/cs of all the rooms.
At breakfast you don't have much choice to eat, even though it is a buffet. Food is bland and what is annoying is that they do not offer water but instead a juice which is very bitter.
However it is supposedly cleaner than it's neighbouring hotel which is a 4 star hotel (that hotel doesn't even have a/cs!). So in general it isn't so bad compared to other hotels in the region but next to European hotels the standard is not that good.
