“Beautiful hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

We were there from 26/4/14 - 1/5/14. Had pool facing rooms which were very clean and spacious and extra beds were also provided for our kids. The food and service was excellent. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Most of us were vegetarians and the chef made sure we were well catered for. The kids club was great and the animation team was good with all their daytime activities and night time entertainment. Thank you to the Neptune team for a great holiday. We will definitely return soon.

we have just got back from a lovely short break, the resort was lovely, great rooms , lovely staff, and nice clean property, we were a big group and the hotel was very accommodating.
the pool was masive and everybody had a great time .

the only small complaint i have is that the food in the all inclusive took very long to come and it was like 2-3 hours before we got our pizzas ,

all in all i would recommend this property .....

Room Tip: the pool facing rooms r the best , but only 8 available

Fantastic boutique hotel. Stayed there for just 3 nights and the service and entertainment they provided was too good. Rooms we're clean and we'll maintained. All the staff are friendly and they were all on their toes for any needs we had. food was excellent and thanks to the Head Chef Mr. Dharampal did his level best to provide a great variety of different cuisines. Their mini club for kids and their staff who we're entertaining the kids were great and very careful with the kids. I would 100% recommend this hotel to all friends and family.

Room Tip: Near the pool area and the room number 705 / 706 / 707 are near the restaurant as we'll.

This was the second time within a space of 2 years that we have stayed at Neptune Paradise. The room, service, food and evening entertainment were great. The white sandy stretch of beach was clean(i.e devoid of broken bottles etc washed up when the tide comes in) all through our stay. The only thing of concern is that the population of monkeys has grown and one cannot enjoy sitting outside your balcony with small children or leaving the windows or your balcony door open to get in some lovely sea-breeze all because the monkeys have become a nuisance. On our first day my 2 sons aged 4 and 2 were chewing on lollipops and within a matter of seconds as we were walking down from our room to the swimming pool we were surrounded by almost 10 monkeys who were trying to get at the children. At the time I was unsure as to why they trying to get at us and I tried to ward them off with our beach bag but they seemed undeterred and kept closing in every second.Quick thinking by my wife saved the day as she realized that they were after the children's lollipops and quickly grabbed the same from the kids mouths and hurled them away which saw the monkeys scatter after the same.As we took up our beach beds on the lawn facing the sea on the 2nd day 2 monkeys came and grabbed from our beach bag that was open the children's baby wipes packet then ran a few mts away with it left it after trying to chew on it.I would sincerely like the management to involve the Kenya Wildlife Services or device a away of keeping the monkeys at bay before they attack and harm or injure someone or a child in the near future.Apart from this all was well and will look forward once again in the near future of going back due to their all round great service.

Room Tip: A top floor room closer towards the main restaurant is great due to the lovely sea breeze that you g...

Dear Collin

Thank you for finding time to review our resort.
We do appreciate your comments which go a long way in improving our customer care.
Our resort boasts of beautiful gardens and trees which are as well home to the Vervet and colobus monkeys.
The monkeys add to the natural beauty to our premises although as you have rightly put it they can be a nuisance if not carefully handled.
The KWS ( Kenya Wild Life Service) is involved in preservation of the monkeys through the Colobus trust which looks into the well being and population of the monkeys.
Colobus trust personnel visit the hotel every Thursday to educate the guests on how to live side by side with this charming creatures.
In summary they teach the “law of the jungle” which is survival for the fittest and animals have to fend for themselves.
When guests feed them they break this law and make the monkeys depend on tourists.
This is why we have put up signs that refrain guests from feeding the monkeys and as well reiterate this during briefings made by tour leaders and receptionists.
Never the less be rest assured that we have taken note of the discomfort caused and will put measures in place.
Thank you.

We have just returned from another great holiday at Palm Beach. From the wonderful welcome to the overwhelming farewell everything was great! It was our sixth stay in this hotel in Mombasa.
As usuall the stay was perfect. Special thanks for OFM and the rest of staff!. Hotel is lokated on beach. When you would like to have a walk don't be afraid. If you go right probably you will meet few people or nobody. If you go left you can walk to Dianii beach. Of course don't forget about tides.
The worst thing is of course travel from Moi International Airport to the hotel. We never use coaches. We only ask Julius Nzumbi from JT Safaris to send taxi for us. Insead 3 -4 hours the trip take 1-1,5 hour. For Julis friend and new guests short info: JULIS'S NEW HEAD OFFICE IS MOVED JUST NEXT TO DIANI SEA RESORT.
