A lovely property (don't let the all dirt bumpy road to it fool you!) with great service and a caring staff! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, and the showers are hot! It is in an enclosed compound with 24/7 security (common in Kenya) right next to an elementary school. It is quiet and peaceful at night and there is a lovely terrace on the second floor where you can sit and quietly read, work, or enjoy a meal. There is artwork by a local artist, Keric, throughout that spans a range of supbject matter and style- I purchased one very colorful abstract for myself and a more traditional painting for a wedding gift- both nice size (he rolls the canvas so you can take it on the plane) for about $65. The staff is pleasant, attentive, and caring. It is a great place to stay!
