“Voyage back in history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

This beautiful area will be of interest to anyone who has studied WW II in the South Pacific. Seghe Airport on New Georgia was originally built by the Japanese. Diving from Uepi Resort was extraordinary. A day trip of diving from the resort took us farther around this huge lagoon to a wrecked fishing boat, an extraordinary reef, a hidden sinkhole, a twisting ride through a mangrove lined "canoe passage" and a dive on a P38 Fighter off the Seghe runway.

“Magic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Beautiful waters with abundant fish life. If you snorkel or scuba there are many many places to explore. There are old war plane wrecks, wrecked fishing boats, and others just waiting for you to come and see them. While we were there the waters were always inviting.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

This is a beautiful lagoon. Seriously, it is absolutely stunning. The water is crystal clear, the marine life abundant and the coral among the best I have ever seen. It was the perfect place for a beginner diver like me to become accustomed to underwater exploration. Out of the water, who could not forget the amazing carvings produced my the very talented local craftsmen. Quite simply, this is one place that you have to see before you die.

“Don't forget the camera..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Beautiful Lagoon - with amazing diving and snorkelling. Don't forget the water proof camera, like we did. As soon as we stuck our faces in the water we taken back by the amazing marine life in this Lagoon.

“one of my favourite holiday destinations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

It may not be one of the easiest places to get to (plane flights very unreliable) but it is worth the effort.
The fishing , the snokeling and the diving are the main reasons to come here. There are many great little places to stay and the people are so friendly.
