My 17 y.o. and I stayed here after a drive from Dallas. Check-in was easy with reservations.
This is a 7-8 minutes drive north of Fayetteville with easy access from I-540. To my knowledge, there aren't any comparable properties in the area - especially with a gourmet restaurant.
Complimentary wine and cheese daily. Imported Spanish red & white wines were offered when I was there. The white wine was delicious. It was nice being able to enjoy the wine al fresco on the deck, overlooking the koi pond while listening to the rushing water from the mill.
Complimentary continental breakfast. Offering 3 kinds of sliced cold-cuts, 3 sliced cheeses, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bagels, sliced breads, freshly baked croissants, Baklava and pumpkin muffins. Orange juice, V-8 juice, coffee and water.
Computer use in lobby. Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Room 207 was appointed with traditional furniture with a king size bed and luxurious linens. There are some lavish touches...crown molding, wall sconces, state-of-the-art bathroom faucet. Pull out couch. Complimentary use of robes. Eucalyptus toiletries.
The armoire held a small safe, flat screen tv (with FOX news!) and mini fridge.
We enjoyed the property atmosphere so much that we had dinner at James at the Mill. The food is fresh and innovative - out of the norm for this part of the United States! My son states that he had the best chicken tortilla soup ever. (He politely declined the complimentary caviar hor d'oeuvre.) The service was attentive. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for families with children.
This is a beautiful scenic area. We will definitely stay here again.
