Good introduction to the people and wildlife of Botswana. Arrived late after flight delays and were met at camp by entire staff singing and dancing to welcome us. For 2 days we had this small, rustic camp with only 6 tents to ourselves, only a few kilometers from Khwai Village and close to the boundary of the Moremi Reserve. Staff were outstanding, very attentive and friendly, treated us like family, guide and tracker were excellent. Our stay coincided with start of rainy season and twice our afternoon drives were interrupted by powerful thunderstorms, while termite migrations accompanied the rain. Drive through the reserve filled with wildlife sightings including many elephants, large pack of wild dogs and considerable bird life along the Khwai River. Very much enjoyed the lack of phones, computers, TV, and heard lions every night.
