We loved it from the very first time. Clear water, windy, sunny and clean. We recommend a powerfull SPF.

“Incredible!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Imagine walking across a tiny land bridge surrounded by crystal clear water. It can't be beat! Just be sure the the sea isn't too choppy the day you want to go.

“Unspoiled beauty at Los Roques Archipelago”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

We stayed in Gran Roques, Los Roques Archipelago, for our last vacation and took a few organized trips around the other islands. Cayo de Agua was one of three island stops on our first day there. It is a tiny speck of coral reef topped by a perfect white sand beach and azure crystal-clear water! A great way to spend the day beaching!

“Good, but lower your expectations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

This is indeed one of the best cayos in Los Roques. Pristine waters and quiet - away from everything. On the other hand, I am not sure why it is so highly rated by people. It does not have good places to snorkel or coral reefs.

The option to visit the cayo dagua and later go to visit the turtles is nice. Still, our experience in Cayo Crasqui was better. For us, Crasqui is the best cayo of Los Roques.

“Heavenly beach - Must do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011 via mobile

Cayo de Agua is one of the small islands of Los Roques. It takes about 40 minutes from Gran Roque to get there by boat.
It's absolutely worth it. You will arrive to this wonderful white beach with clear light blue water.
There are no restaurants or places to buy anything...so bring your stuff!
You can take the boats from Gran Roque. The price is not excessive and they include the beach umbrella and a couple of chairs.
And do not forget sun protector with a very high SPF (30 and above)
