Very good budget option! Clean rooms and bathrooms, huge kitchen and dining room, comfortable bed and friendly english speaking staff. The camping is overlooking the sea and at night you can hear the waves... Wauw! It is a little bit far from the city center (20 min), but OK. Nearby there is a little harbour (with a moai!) were's a huge turtle swimming all the time!

My husband and I stayed here our lat two nights on Rapa Nui and we wished we would have stayed here the whole time! The staff was friendly and it was a clean, quiet place to be! It is about a 10-15 min walk to the Main Street. We met some really great and interesting travelers here and it is very affordable to stay in the dorms! They even took us to the airport when it was time to leave!

We travelled to Easter Island in combination with a vacation to French Polynesia. Because the rest of the holiday was pricy enough we looked for a budget stay in Easter Island. We stayed for 6 days and had a room with private bathroom. The pickup is free.
You can use the kitchen to cook your meals. The town with mini markets is within walking distance.
The view form the camping is great. There's a communal area (with computers) were you can sit and read a book (don't forget to shoes outside)

Stayed the first 4 nights at a place in the centre of town but I could hear the bars at night... walked around and came across Camping Minihoa. It looked nicer and was cheaper.
Loved it. Stayed in the $10 a night dorm. Great facilities, amazing views from the windows while eating breakfast, just across the road from the shore so you go to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore in your ears... no bunk beds! Cars and bicyles acpvailable to hire and yes, you can camp there - bring your own tent or can hire one from the owner complete with decent sleeping mattresses. Large cooking & eating hall with lockers.
There were roaches, but I saw them clean the place thoroughly, regularly. Some countries just have roaches the way others have ants and flies...

Basic cheap accom ( on the most expensive island ) .free airport pick up and drop off . 10 min walk from the main st , but 70 mtrs from the shore . Be warned this place has the worst wi fi which they charge you for , it would be better to use a carrier pigeon than really on wi fi to send messages .
