I rented a car and made it up the gravely dirt road, to this beautiful outlook of the whole island! Rano Kau is a dead volcano, BUT once you pull over and look inside, it just takes your breath away, I didn;t want to leave! I just couldn't believe how beautiful and clean this area of the world was!
A short drive further is a small museum that tells the story of the people who once lived on the island and their stone huts that still stand. Another breathtaking views of the ocean below, theres a small uninhabited island off the coast of that!
