After staying one night in a hell hole after our arrival in Easter Island, we spent a couple of hours looking for alternate accommodation that fitted within our tight budget. This was not an easy task as the caliber of accommodation was quite low. We eventually turned to the internet, found out about this place and after several sets of directions (it was quite difficult to find) we found it. We inquired within the restaurant met the owner who showed us to the guest accommodation located behind the restaurant. The guest cabins were newly built and great value for money, they were made entirely of wood, were light spacious and airy with an adjoined bathroom, fridge and safe.
Breakfast was also included in the room rate and was served in the restaurant, the menu seemed to change everyday but usually included eggs, meat, bread and fruit.
The only downside was that at about 10pm every night until the early hours we could here live music (drums etc.) from our room which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. As a light sleeper myself, personally I would happily put up with the noise over staying in other cheap accommodation on the Island.
Overall I would definably recommend this place, and as a backpacker would defiantly stay here again.
