“Not good , not bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

During our Atlantic Canada trip we stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. Arrived after a long day's trip from Baie Comeau , the beds felt good. Rooms aren't that big , but were clean and neat. We got a room on the ground floor , only a few meters away from the reception ( I believe it was room #105 , but don't no for sure ). There's a door separating the reception from the room's hallway , wich was open 24 hours a day , despite a note on that door saying "keep door closed allways".
And that was the only negative point we experienced : because that door was open always , we heared the night receptionist talking all evening & night in her cellphone , private talks for sure. She was talking and laughing so loud , we finaly went to her around midnight and asked her to lower her voice or the shut the door ! She wasn't happy we complained , but stopped chatting and finally we had a good night. Second night was not a problem (other person on shift).
Breakfast was oke , staff very friendly. Parking just outside the hotel , plenty of space.
Because there's a new hotel being build in Lab.City ,(opening in 2013 according the billboards we saw) this hotel must perform better in future to keep guests. For now , not a very good or very bad choice , just average.

We recently stayed at this hotel. It was a bit pricey but the options in Lab. City are very limited. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great since it’s on the main road and in walking distance of a fast food place. It was relatively quiet. The beds were comfy and the room was spacey. One thing that was disgusting is your coffee pot, glasses, stir sticks/sweetener etc., is located in the bathroom on a shelf directly above the toilet. The shower had a cracked wall and didn’t look the cleanest, the toilet paper roll was already half used. I did like that you plug directly into their internet connection so it is fast and constant.
Overall this hotel is okay considering how active and busy Lab. City is and the amount of options you have.

I have used this hotel over 20 times in the last 20 years or more. There is very little choice in Labrador City but that being said this hotel is clean and the service is great. The food is good and the location is on the main road.

No luxury hotel by any means, but clean, nice restaurant, and friendly staff, it's the best in Labrador City. No pool, 3 machines in the fitness room. Within walking distance to all local amenities.

Room Tip: If you don't get a room on the 1st floor, you don't get the internet very good.

The hotel states in his brochure: combination of superior accommodations with great hospitality and professionalism. We didn't feel that. The rooms are ok, but the hotel looks a bit dated and is very expensive for the simple rooms. The staff were self involved and not friendly. We eat by the McDonalds with is next to the hotel. No breakfast included. Free wireless and airco.

Labrador City doesn't have a lot of hotel availability and so we were lucky to get a room at the whimsically named "Two Seasons" when we were driving through Quebec and Labrador on our way to HVGB. It's a fairly basic accomodation but good friendly service and a good stay in a clean hotel with a spacious room. Second floor room and no elevator was our only complaint.

Near all the commodities, perfect if your traveling for the mining industry. Service was ok, food at restaurant is expensive but delicious. Rooms are clean and Internet works well and free.
