“Excellent base for Mid Wales”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

Stayed for 2 nights over a weekend whilst taking part in local road
and offroad races, on the recommendation of a friend who'd already
stayed here 3 times. We were made to feel very welcome, the bedroom
and bathroom were spotless and with a powerful shower - just what you
need after you've been running around the local countryside! The
owners were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent.
Sometimes it's the little things that make the most difference. There
was fresh milk available for those who don't like the long life stuff
and bottled water in the bedroom. Five star. I would not hesitate to
recommend this place.

Thank you for your kind comments. It was great to meet you both. The weather surprised us all at the weekend and made such a difference to the Man v Horse race. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Back as every year for Man vs Horse race, this time a three night stay. The usual super stay with some very valued extra help in finding someone good to fix our car when it broke down on the Sunday we left. We don't know anywhere better!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review again this year. It was lovely to welcome you both back and it's always great to see familiar faces. Glad your car was fixed ok. We're lucky to live in a friendly little town where locals are ready to help out if needed.

Bryncelyn is quite simply one of the best guesthouses that I've ever stayed in and we're just back from our 2nd visit.

The welcome and comfortable easy feeling from the family put you right at ease. Nothing is too much bother - from helpful advice on where to eat and places to go and see they really are 1st class.
In short It's relaxed - clean - tidy and very reasonable. It's right in the centre of the town as well with many pubs within a minutes walk but it's not noisy and you'll have no bother sleeping as the beds are comfy. Next morning you'll be served a great breakfast.

It's biker friendly with off street parking in the drive to the left hand side. Local bars have good quality and reasonably priced food. There are also other restaurants that cater for the more expensive and all tastes.

Try this B&B and you'll never stay anywhere else in Llanwrtyrd Wells.

We'll be back next year!!

What a delight to get such a lovely review. It was a pleasure to have yourself and your friends.
The surrounding area is becoming more and more popular with bikers as the roads are excellent and the scenery fantastic.
We look forward to welcoming you back again next year.

Four knitting ladies shared a family attic room for the week end while visiting the Wondewool exebition.
We found the landlady Lil and her husbandvery welcoming and charming and everything possible was done to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was delisious with a good variety of fresh fruits and youghurts which we particulary enjoyed. The coffee was nice and strong and the service efficient. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable.
Our stay at the Bryncelyn made up for the lack of sun this week end. Go and see for yourselves ..a real gem in the smallest town in Wales.....Highly recomended by the spinners and knitters from Berkshire.....
