“Very good staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

Just popped in for a quick coffee. Very attentive staff member helped out. Had americano and piece of cake. All delivered promptly to table and query about free wifi answered quickly and in a very courteous way. Nice place to sit for 30 mins. Seemed very popular with people having to wait or come back for seats.
Good coffee and cake.

“Comfortable stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Had an enjoyable half hour in this café bar in main road in Barmouth.
Good standard of coffee and cakes.
Would recommend it.
Girl who served us was very helpful in recommending somewhere excellent to eat which we would never have gone to had it not been for talking to her.

“Just what we were looking for...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

En route on our journey home north after a week in Pembrokeshire, we made our first ever visit to Barmouth. It was around 6pm and we were looking for somewhere nice for a bite to eat when we came across Murrays...which ticked all of our boxes nicely! We were unsure if they would still be open or serving hot food but we were greeted pleasantly and made to feel welcome. There was a broad range of options on the menu and we found something to suit all of our tastes - they even made a special arrangement to cater for our daughter! The soup was a little out of the ordinary but was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. The young man who served us (Ashley) was extremely friendly and accommodating. From speaking with the owner as we were leaving, I complemented her on her establishment and how well they had looked after us all, especially the children. I would have to agree with an earlier reviewer in recommending this little gem and say that it is extremely family friendly and there was nothing not to like! Looking forward to another excuse to visit Barmouth now!! (Note - this review was from a visit in August 2013 - I did say I would post a review but didn't anticipate it would take quite as long as this to do so. At least I've kept my word!)
