Right from the moment you arrive at this hotel you are blown away by the view over looking the bay. I had requested an early check in which they granted and helped us out loads as we were only staying for the one night and wanted to make the most of our trip. The reception was unmanned but the cleaner was super helpful showed us around and saw we settled in our room - now the room - was HUGE! very airy, clean with two big windows over looking the bay. Location is perfect with a 2 min walk down to the bridge and bay and a 5min drive to the beach front so all in all perfect. We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel, both delicious and the host ash was great seeing that we were seen to for all our needs. The only two things i could pick at was that the wifi for the hotel didnt work in our hotel room so would have to sit on the landing to stay in touch with work and back home, and the beds are very hard, but i like a soft bed - as i say this was only a niggle and not a deal breaker by any means. would 100% stay there again without a doubt.

Excellent Area for a short break, We were last here 60 years ago, oh how time flies, I was hoping to remember some of the places but so much has changed, but all the same there is lots to do and lots to visit, and we were lucky to have nice weather, if we want to come again I don't think we can leave it so long. We found that the gentleman in charge was very helpful and always smiling he was a jack of all trades,

Room tip: We had room 15 if you want sea view this is not the room

Lovely views of Barmouth beach which catch your breath the moment you step into your room. £110 for a night which is reasonable for the comfy double bed, bath and shower, good variety of tea, coffee ans hit chocolaye samples supplied within room with the stunning views. Perfect for a get away. The breakfast is also included in price which was a choice of all morning starters and a full english breakfast. The breakfast was cooked wonderfully and reallt fills you up. Only downside is the small TV but that wasn't really needed due to the view.
The hotel staff member who was on the desk was absolutely lovely. He served breakfast the following morning and called me chuckles so straight away we felt at home. Definitely would return.

We attended monthly music night (on every third Wednesday) music and venue was great and the food served was excellent. I have also had a number of meals as a non resident and can say on every occasion the service and food has been first rate at affordable prices.
Would strongly recommend this hotel.
