“Good FamilyPub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013 via mobile

It's a bit of a ritual every year for us walking across the bridge, having a smooch around Barmouth and lunching at the Last. The pub has a warm harbour theme that is very welcoming. The beer has always been good and the food is honest pub grub that has always been good. Very family friendly and allows dogs... All in all, worthy of a visit.

“Average Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

We ate here early one evening, the food was more quantity than quality, the chips are poor, steak was OK and the salad was very basic. My wife had salmon and asparagus in a nice sauce but it was accompanied by a mountain of frozen chips, enough veg for a small family and a salad. Too much food. Beer was good though.

“Thank You”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

Quirky pub and food place. We dropped in at lunchtime.
Very friendly staff. Incredibly scrummy butternut squash soup and a good selection of drinks.
But, and it is a big but in this day and age, the honesty of the staff was outstanding.
When we were leaving my wife was unaware that her purse had fallen out of her coat pocket.
One hundred yards down the road we were hailed by the barmaid with my wife's purse.
Fantastic and much appreciated honesty.
That is worth supporting in anybody's language.
A big, big thank you.
