“Nice and friendly place to day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2012

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here at the end of March. The place was adequate with very friendly proprietors who went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. The room we stayed in was nice, just one small critisism is that there is no mirror in the bedroom, I had to risk life and limb by dragging my hairdryer into the bathroom!!

Fantastic brekkie, really nice- and lots of it.

Barmouth is a small place, and of an evening there isn't a lot to do, we went for a nice curry at the Saffron Restaurant which is worth a trip.

The bridge walk alongside the railway was fantastic and I got some fabulous pictures.

We would return to this neck of the woods again, but maybe not to Barmouth ....

Stayed here for 1 night with granddaughter ,nice clean bedroom and bathroom.
Ideal location just a stones throw from the beach ,no noise in the evening and very friendly couple .We had the last room available, we couldn't have a sea view but our fault for not booking early enough and missed a beautiful sunset.

I have stayed here with my brother and pals for an Army reunion and we were well looked after. Great family place nice atmosphere, very relaxed and kind of home from home feel about the place. Came back later in year with my wife to walk in the area- it's a fantastic place for walkers.
Again we were looked after and were given good advice about great walks along with useful laminated maps to borrow..
Army reunion time coming up again and I am taking my wife to this one- so she can keep an eye on me! booking in here again! Recommended. Jim Eaton

Room Tip: Great family room at the front of house facing sea.

Very friendly and welcoming! even offered to carry our bags from the car to our room!, you don't even get that in hotels!!!!, gave us lots of local knowledge of the area and walks etc, (even had maps for you to take if you wanted!). The breakfast was super!, too much in fact and well worth the money!, the room was clean and comfortable, and well stocked with tea, coffee etc, we stayed there for four days and nights, and the bed was lush and we didn't want to get out as it was so comfortable!. If we are ever up that way again, we will most certainly stay again!!!. A way to go from Cornwall but its well worth it!!!

Room Tip: The front room on top is best for the beach view!!!

Stayed with 12 friends while cycling around Wales. Excellent value for money. Clean rooms and fab big breakfast. Steve and Katie were very helpful and friendly and also made us a quality packed lunch for our day out.

Room Tip: Room 6 has lovely sea views.

Steve and Katie were very helpful and friendly. The uninterrupted ocean view was beautiful. I particularly liked the bed linen. The hotel is in a great location in a spectacular part of the world.
