“great Arts Centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Mwldan is friendly, modern and clean. if the movies are a bit mainstream, they're trying to please everyone as the next nearest cinema is I think Carmarthen. Good coffee. Lovely auditorium. Just like a Filmhouse cinema chain, actually,

“theatre, cinema, art, cultural events, restuarant and more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

nothing to dislike. 3 cinemas and a full theatre space. everything from international to local events. I go at least 3 times a month and find it excellent value for money. when they were building the place the policy was to have leg room and the seats have. Also the design & ambiance of the place invites you in and if you are waiting go into the exhibition area there is always something there. The staff are very helpful and friendly employed and volunteers - one way to get to see the films free. there is also a film society which incorporates a 2 tier membership - i have the lower which incorporates a discount on films and 3 free society films. you can book online or by telephone. prices are really good anyway.
films are usually shown from release although I have no interest in that - i am just pleased to see them in comfort and which such brilliant screens and sound. (They even turned the sound down on a film when we were all finding it bit too much),
They have a special deal on children now for the theatre - look it up on their web site.
A really good experience on offer.

“A rainy day respite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

I have lost count of the number of times I have visited the old and the new Theatr. The cinemas are confy, well sized and do the business for films and plays. The cafe is fine and quite often there will be an art show as well. Good range of films with more than a nod to arty-worldy cinema.

“Great little cinema”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Haven't visited for a while, but my children used to love going here whilst on holiday in the Cardigan area. It has a super little cinema and there's a great chip shop at the top of the road to complete a top day out!

“Films, fun and feasting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Theatr Mwldan is a unique treasure. It now has 3 auditoriums serving up films, both popular and arty, music, plays, dance and other performances, and you don't always need to book in advance. The cafe has been variable in the past but is currently excellent - open for lunches and occasional evenings
