Thank goodness it was only for one night. Having just stayed 3 nights in a Premier Inn I was looking forward to a "proper" hotel stay however the Premier Inn was actually luxury compared to the Ord House. First impressions count and it's clear from arriving that there hasn't been much investment made in this place. £160 for a one night stay B & B is an absolute rip off! At first I thought I was sharing with mice as there was little black pieces on the window ledge (in cobwebs) and in the joins of the carpet. However it turned out that this was dead beasties. The warm water wasn't warm at bedtime. There is no TV provided in the bedroom. Afterwards when I told people where I had stayed they just laughed - I just wished they had told me beforehand!
