After being 'greeted' by unhelpful check in staff made our way to the room via stairs/corridor smelling of old chip fat.
Bedroom was grubby and poorly furnished, beds were damp with pillows that smelled of someone else's dirty hair. Bedcovers had been washed but were still stained.
No television/radio or hairdryer.
Bathroom dirty with mildewed shower curtain and sticky floor.
Room was directly above bar and VERY noisy.
Checked out and found cheaper and cleaner accommodation at the Caledonian.
