The Morefield is a pleasant family run restaurant on the edge of the village.
It's easy to find by car and from the village itself its no more than a ten minute walk via the riverside path and across the footbridges.
It's well supported by locals and visitors alike.
There is a varied menu, if you want to change something for example substitute chips or potatoes for salad or smaller portion just ask, staff are always wiling to help.
If you order the Mussels to start you may find that what turns up is more like a main but you can always order one to share.
The starters offer a chance to try new things, its amazing how many people have never had langoustine these amazing locally caught prawns mostly end up in France and Spain but you can have them as a starter simply on their own with no faping about.
Its effectively our local and we eat there often.
If you are in the area why not give it a try.
