We recently spent a couple of nights at The Bruce where we found the hospitality to be excellent, the food plentiful and of very high quality and the accommodation to be spacious and very comfortable. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and the hotel highly recommended.

On our short break we found all the staff to be most welcoming and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was all fresh and well prepared and a wide choice was available.
Our room was large, warm and comfortable, with a bath AND shower and nice views over the rolling hills beyond.
We were delighted to find that the Hotel was ideally situated for our touring plans and was everything we needed after days discovering the delights of Dumfries & Galloway.
The value for money price was a bonus!

I just cold called at the hotel reception and recieved a very warm welcome.The staff where helpfull,the room I was allocated was a large twin bedded room with all the equipment needed for an overnight stay.The evening meal was good value, the beer was a bit over priced but all in all it is a very nice friendly run hotel and I would stay there again.The hotel is ideal for a evening break when traveling to the ferries just off the main A75.

Found the hotel to be of excellent quality. Service was superb and the standard of the room was great; spacious and well laid out. Food was of top quality and the staff could not have been more helpful or polite.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.
