Just back from a wonderful 2 night stay. Very friendly welcome and a great atmosphere and recommendations of places to visit and dine. It is in a very handy location 5 minutes walk from the main street and bus stops. It's a very central location, just 20 minutes on the bus from Wigtown, Scotland's Book Town or a pleasant bike ride if you prefer. There are regular bus services from Newton Stewart which go to the ferry at Stranraer and to Dumfries Station. Service 500 carries bikes for free.
