We were very satisfied with our stay at Ardno. Rooms were beautiful with a splendid view on the Loch, and we had really the feeling to have found a friend in Glencoe, with all worthwhile advice on places to visit and restaurants. Thank you Alan !

Spent a weekend, courtesy of a family present, here in Ardno House. Lovely large rooms with great views over Loch Linnhe. Pat and Alan are very friendly hosts. Alan is very knowledgable about local walks and attractions. Recommended.

Stayed one night at Ardno House, on way to John o Groates. Superb B&B. Room was spacious, very clean, great comfy bed. Bathroom was excellent, great power shower, underfloor heating. Breakfast was scrummy, excellent service. Pat & Alan are very nice hosts. Great views, excellent parking. Could not ask for more. Would definately recommend. choose this B&B after searching on net, definately lives up to its reviews.

Have just returned from a wonderful stay at Ardno House. We spent 4 nights in this excellent B&B. We had a spacious room with great views over the loch. The ensuite bathroom is the best we've had in a B&B - it had plenty of space with a separate bath and shower. The whole place was modern, with good décor and very clean. Alan and Pat were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Alan as happy to provide local information on restaurants and places to visit. We would certainly recommend this B&B and would definitely go back again if we were in that area.

My family and I recently visited Ardno House for a one night stopover on our way to the Highlands. If I knew then what I know now, I would have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful luxury B&B that was incredibly comfortable and had a fantastic view. It is a perfect base for visiting Glencoe which deserved more of our time.

We spent three wonderful nights at the Ardno House. The views were amazing, the home lovely and the proprietors friendly and accommodating. We were there at the same time as the folks who had trouble with the Wi Fi; we too had trouble initially. What we learned is that the means of access varies from one country to another but the Wi Fi did/does work. Unfortunately the couple who had trouble with the Wi Fi departed before we learned how to access it. Be assured the owners went out of their way to resolve the problem.
Now for the premises themselves - the rooms are large, nicely decorated, have large bathrooms and were very clean. The breakfast room is light and cheery with pretty linens and a good assortment of fruit, cereals and juices. There was plenty of hot tea/coffee and toast followed by eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.
The owners: Alan and Pat made it a point to greet us each morning, ask about our comfort and offer any assistance we might need in making plans and offering suggestions. They even went so far as to give us their Skin So Soft when they heard we were heading further up into the highlands (to help combat the midges).
Across from the B&B there is a walking path that runs along the Loch. The path weaves through wild flowers, rhododendrons and rockie hills.
The sitting room had a great view of the Loch and a good selection of books that the owners loaned out for our entertainment.
You could not ask for more of a B&B and it's surroundings. We hope to go back.

No swimming pool. Hit it accidentally and can't get it to come off.

Thanks a million for your kind review.
It is much appreciated especially the references to a previous guests unjustified comments re our Wi-Fi. These comments and their review now appear to have been withdrawn following my initial response so apologies to anyone reading the previous 2 or 3 reviews who are wondering what all the fuss was about!
We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay at Ardno and very much hope you will be able to return in the not too distant future.

Regards, Alan Ardno House

Our delightful two night stay could not be improved. And be assured the Wi-Fi does work. The rooms are unusually large, as is the bathroom. The comfortably furnished rooms overlook the lake and the blooming rhododendrons , and combine to make a perfect setting . Our wonderful host even supplied us with repellent against the Scottish warrior midges!
