This is National Trust run and parking is paid for but not at all expensive.
Facilities are good - there is a cafe and shop at the foot of the valley with lots of information and well marked routes to hand.
there is clearly a big effort made here to make the Mynd accessible and easy to navigate
Also got a load of 2nd hand and near new books in the book shop bit of the cafe - proceeds to the trust so I am a happy camper
