The Priory Guesthouse and Restaurant is a lovely 18th Century house, it is located in one of two market squares opposite the castle, home of King Richard III.
The ancient township of Middleham nestles on the hillside at the meeting of two of the most beautiful dales of Yorkshire boasting many breathtaking views on the fell and lowland walks.
The town is well known for racehorse training which started in the 18th Century and the enjoyment of the early morning gallops can regularly be seen from many of the bedrooms or from the comfort of the lounge, which also has a colour TV, video and DVD player, and the dining room.
The Priory has seven bedrooms all leading onto the georgian staircase, and each has its own beverage tray, TV and private facilities.
The Priory restaurant is fully licensed and is open to residents and non residents, the food is to die for, tony is the chef and all the food is freshly prepared using a variety of local produce.
The fish dishes he cooks are superb, the duck, the steak,i could go on ......everything is just delicious.

They also have a stone bulit semi detached cottage at the back of the Priory, it was formerly a Coach house and is steeped in history. It is beautiful, renovated and refurbished it takes upto 8 people, a modern kitchen with dining area, range cooker .
The master bedroom has ensuite facilities, under floor heating and French doors leading to a roof top garden.
